If you purchase e-tickets from our online store, a "contract" will be concluded between us.
This contract is called in legal language "distance contract", since this contract is concluded between us without our simultaneously physical presence for the conclusion of the contract, but, rather, by exclusively using the internet as a means of communication.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITY

5. SERVICES PROVISION
After the payment has been completed and the booking has been registered, you will receive a confirmation email stating the unique booking code, the number of people, the date and time of entrance. From this point on, the relevant ticket purchase agreement is concluded.
In case of any problem in the completion of the transaction, a relevant e-mail will be sent to you.
6. RIGHT TO WITHDRAWAL
The User reserves the right to withdraw irrevocably from the contract concluded between them and the Company, if they notify in writing this request at the e-mail address tickets@athensolympicmuseum.org within 14 calendar days upon receipt of the booking confirmation, e-mail, stating booking number ………………., date of booking ………………, and date of visit ………., by filling in the withdrawal form which can be found here.
Exercising the withdrawal means the validity of the tickets ceases and the Company refunds the User the entire amount of money that they paid through the same means of payment that were used for booking and purchasing the tickets.

8. GENERAL INFORMATION
a) The purchase of the ticket entitles the holder to enter the Athens Olympic Museum, as indicated on the ticket, subject to the acceptance of the Operating Regulation of the premises, which the "User" must carefully consult and that is posted on website www.athensolympicmuseum.org.
b) The ticket is valid for the day and time indicated on it.
c) Entering the premises implies the unconditional acceptance of the Operating Regulations and instructions of the Museum staff. In case of non-compliance, the staff is entitled to prohibit/interrupt the stay of guests in the venue.
d) Upon completion of the transaction, subject to the right of withdrawal mentioned in point 6 above, no refund or changing tickets is possible. Also, tickets that have been lost, stolen or damaged are not covered.
e) If for reasons of force majeure, including the cases of suspension of operation of the Museum following a state order in the context of taking measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, a visit to the Museum cannot be made due to its non-operation, then the User will be refunded the price paid for the ticket. For this reason, please send an email to tickets@athensolympicmuseum.org stating booking number ………………, date of booking ………………. and date of visit ………. In the event that the reasons for force majeure are established, then the ticket price will be refunded in the same way as it was paid when booking. In case of entrance to the Museum, in any way and for any reason, by a person other than the one who has booked the ticket, the company has no obligation to ensure the entrance to the real beneficiary of the booking. The same applies in case for any reason the person who booked the ticket did not finally manage to visit the Museum.
f) If you choose the bank deposit as your payment method, please send us by e-mail at tickets@athensolympicmuseum.org proof of bank deposit. Any bank charges are borne exclusively by the "User", so that the total amount of the deposit minus the bank expenses, shall fully cover the price of the tickets.

9. APPLICABLE LAW - DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Resolution of any disputes within the scope of present Terms of Use will be governed by the Greek Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens.
According to Directive 2013/11/EC, which was incorporated in Greece by JMD 70330/2015, consumer disputes can now be resolved electronically through the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process of the European Union through the single platform for online dispute resolution.
