The Athens Olympic Museum proudly supports the 39th Athens Authentic Marathon as an official social partner.

In this context, the Athens Olympic Museum rewards participating runners by offering free admission to its permanent exhibition from November 7 to 14.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the key milestones in the history of the Olympic Games—from their birth in Ancient Olympia to the grandeur of the modern editions. Special emphasis is placed on the first Marathon race, which took place during the inaugural modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896. The Museum’s exhibition is enriched with personal items and memorabilia from Greek athletes who made the nation proud, allowing guests to relive some of the most glorious moments in Greek sporting history.
