Combine Fun and Learning at the Athens Olympic Museum!
Visit the Museum with your family or friends and enjoy an unforgettable experience, sharing creative and meaningful time with your loved ones.
With the purchase of a group ticket (for more than 5 people) or a family ticket, from Friday to Sunday, all visitors can enjoy a free guided tour of the Museum’s permanent exhibition as part of their visit.
Embark on an immersive journey through the history of the Olympic Ideal—from the ancient myths that gave it life, to its revival in 1896, and its transition into the modern era—through historical artifacts, original audiovisual material, interactive exhibits, and athletes’ personal stories and memorabilia.
This initiative highlights the Museum’s role in introducing visitors of all ages to the ideals of Olympism, promoting the inseparable connection between Sport, Culture, and Education. Since its opening, the Museum has developed new programs and activities, both inside and outside the Museum, bringing people of all ages closer to Olympic values.
