Little Olympians @ Designer Outlet
The Athens Olympic Museum invites children to the most fun and engaging introduction to the Olympic Games, specially designed for young audiences, at Designer Outlet Athens.
What does Olympism really mean?
What makes the Olympic Games different from any other sporting event?
What hidden treasures can be found in the Athens Olympic Museum’s collection?
Through the original and highly interactive activity “Little Olympians”, children aged 5–12 play, explore, and discover the values of Olympism. They become torchbearers, athletes, and creators of the Olympic torch. At the end of the activity, a special surprise awaits them— inspired by the Museum’s collection.
Discovering Olympism through the 2004 Torch – Interactive Storytelling
Inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic torch of the Athens 2004 Games, children explore the philosophy of Olympism and the celebration of the Olympic Games through interactive storytelling.
Our Own Games – Movement Activities
We organize our very own mini Olympic Games, featuring a torch relay, sports activities, and a closing ceremony!
Create Your Own Torch – Art Workshop
Who designed the Athens 2004 torch, and how was it created?
Children become designers themselves and create their own Olympic torch.
