Olympic Day 2025

The Athens Olympic Museum, remaining true to its mission and vision to promote sports and the values of the Olympic Movement, celebrates Olympic Day on Monday, June 23, by participating in the global initiative of the International Olympic Committee and the World Health Organization under the theme “Let’s Move? Let’s Move.” On this occasion, the Museum offers free admission all day and complimentary group tours from 11:00 to 13:00.

Dedicated to the legacy of the Olympic Games, this year’s “Let’s Move? Let’s Move” campaign invites everyone to participate, get active, and embrace movement—with the aim of inspiring people of all ages to adopt a more dynamic daily life and a healthier lifestyle.

To mark Olympic Day, the Athens Olympic Museum invites all visitors to explore its permanent exhibition and discover the Olympic history of Athens through the free themed tour "Agon, Classic Researcher."

Using the complimentary printed guide “ATHENS, the Olympic Capital ‘Hidden’ in the Museum,” visitors are guided through 25 stops within the permanent exhibition that highlight 35 landmark locations in Athens with a strong Olympic imprint.

Celebrate Olympic Day and explore Athens’ Olympic heritage through a unique museum experience at the Athens Olympic Museum!
