The Company “ATHENS OLYMPIC MUSEUM” (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), having its registered office at 37A Leoforos Kifissias, in Maroussi, Greece, 15123, as a Data Controller, collects personal information from the users during their connection to the wireless network of the Company. LAMDA HELLIX S.A. which is the service provider, acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the Company and according to the latter’s instructions.

What personal information does the Company collect?

During the connection of the users to the service, the Company, collects and processes,

  • the time of the connection and the disconnection from the wireless network, as well as
  • the IP address and
  • the mac address of your device during the connection

For what purposes is your personal information collected?

  • Contract

The collection of the above personal information is necessary for the provision of the wireless network services.

  • Legal Interest

Furthermore, the Company is able, based on the collected information, to form anonymous statistics regarding the efficiency of the service and any problems during the navigation, which serve its legal interests and more specifically, the improvement of the provided services.

  • Legal Obligation

The Company might process your personal information based on compliance with the current legal framework and especially for the satisfaction of relevant requests from Public Services as well as Public or Supervisory Authorities for the transfer of your information.

Who do we share (your personal information) with?

Your personal information is collected and become subject to further processing by the persons in charge, authorized employees of the Company.

Moreover, other legal entities of our Group or third parties that collaborate with us have access to your personal information. Additionally, your data is processed by any other administrative, judicial or public authority or in general any legal or natural person to whom, according to law or a judicial ruling, relevant responsibility or right of the Company to announce such data, might arise.

For how long do we store your personal information?

Your personal information will be stored for fourteen (14) months. Subsequently, the Company ensures that personal data is destroyed from the files and its system, under the condition that its preservation is not required anymore for the accomplishment of the above purpose or for the fulfillment of its business, tax or accounting requirements of the Company or for the protection of human rights before a competent court or any other authority.

Our commitments

The Company guarantees that all the appropriate organizational and technical measures have been taken, in accordance with the technological standards and applicable laws and regulations, in order to ensure that the processing of your personal information, either from the Company or from third parties on its behalf, is rightful, appropriate and has an adequate level of security to prevent any unauthorized or accidental access, processing, deletion, alteration or other use of it.

Your rights

According to the legislation, you have and may exercise the following rights, after the verification of your identity:

  • the right to access, in other words the right to be informed about the extent of the processing of your personal data and on the other hand, to get further information regarding the ongoing processing,
  • the right to ask the rectification of possible inaccuracies in your personal data or its completion,

As long as the conditions of the legislation are satisfied:

  • the right of deletion,
  • the right to object,
  • the right of restriction of processing and,
  • the right of portability of processing

 

You may exercise the above-mentioned rights by submitting your relevant request document to the Company. We are committed to reply within a deadline of one (1) month from its submission. This deadline can be extended by two (2) months due to complexity of the request, or/and the large scale of the requests.
